IMPORTANT

These day long retreats are just for adult women and are designed to offer experiences and opportunities for women to affirm, heal, and express their beautiful, sensual, and sacred Goddess selves.

In a group of about 30 fabulous women, in a private, safe and nurturing space, we engage with each other through various activities including meditation, experiential and creative processes, movement/dance, dialogue, chanting/singing, and ceremony.

These are non-denominational gatherings, and we are not associated with any religious, spiritual, or professional organization. We do create sacred space, however, by incorporating various elements from a variety of spiritual traditions.

The day is very meaningful and moving, powerful and poignant, inspirational and healing, playful and fun, and absolutely marvelous and magical!

PRESENTERS

Linda Savage, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and sex therapist in private practice in Vista, CA. She is the author of Reclaiming Goddess Sexuality, which presents a powerful new way of understanding women’s sexuality. She has been exploring the mysteries of sexual healing for over 25 years and specializes in working with women and couples on a variety of marital and sexual issues.

Amalya (Amy Peck, M.A.) Is a seasoned facilitator of women’s circles, rituals and workshops. She is an accomplished artist, poet, writer, and dance performer and instructor. She has been presenting Middle Eastern inspired “belly dance” for over ten years and specializes in Sacred Feminine dance as a path of personal empowerment and spiritual devotion. Amalya is dedicated to enriching women’s lives through sharing her love of dance, creativity and ceremony.

Sparkle - The Joyologist! She is a world traveler who has lived in Iran and Japan. She is a former Day Spa Salon owner, licensed Esthetician, and Reflexologist. "Sparkle" (Laurie Wood), has performed Standup Comedy and is a certified instructor in Laughter Yoga. Sparkle's humor and dramatic flair inspires women, of all ages, to treasure and care for their magical "inner" child. She is a bodacious woman who will make you laugh, make you think and feel creative again. Sparkle encourages "ordinary" women to have extraordinary lives!

Fox (Natalie Maisel), Is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Massage Therapist, and dynamic facilitator of Goddess rituals. She has founded many yoga programs, owned her own Yoga Studio in Texas and produced several CDs for women's rituals under her own production company, "Magic Moon Productions." Her vivacious energy and enthusiasm are truly a delight and inspiration!

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

1. PARKING: Please carpool if you can. Cars will be parked in the cul-de-sac and you will be walking down the "scenic route" paved driveway to our house. There will be a goddess pointing the way for you! If you are not comfortable walking about 100 yards, or have a lot to carry, please drive on down to the house!

2. SEATING: Adequate seating, (plastic chairs) and pillows are provided for your comfort.

3. FOOD: Bring your own lunch and snacks. Water and iced mint tea (and a few other little goodies) will be provided. Refrigerator space is available for your sack lunchies.

4. WHAT TO WEAR: Dress like the Goddess you are! Dress for ease of movement and joy of adornment and in layers. Remember Escondido is warmer than other locales.

5. SHOES: Wear comfortable, flat shoes (maybe bring some slippers, if you like.)

6. WHAT TO EXPECT: special time to unveil your inner Goddess, self reflection, sharing, dialogue, movement, meditation, veil magic, ceremony, singing, laughing, and about 30 unique Goddesses to meet!

7. NETWORKING: In consideration of Sacred Space, we discourage active soliciting. However, we do provide a network table for all to share, for any flyers or business cards that you would like to bring.

8. GOING WITH THE FLOW:

Note: Magic Happens! And so do unforeseen circumstances. Thus, we reserve the right to alter details of the program where necessary to give you the best experience possible, and where situations arise which are beyond our control.
